Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark
This bark is sweet, snappy, and just bold enough to make you blush. The kind of flirty little love note that keeps winking at you until the whole pan mysteriously disappears.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark
1- 12 oz bag of dark chocolate chips
2- 12 oz each- bags of white chocolate chips
1-1/2 bags(1 oz each) freeze dried strawberries
1- tsp strawberry extract
Pink and white sprinkles, if desired
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave, using 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until melted and smooth. Pour onto prepared cookie sheet and use an off set spatula to spread evenly. Place in fridge for about an hour. Place 1 bag of the freeze dried strawberries in a gallon size zip top bag and using a small mallet or rolling pin, crush until fine. Set aside. Melt white chocolate in microwave the same way we melted the dark chocolate. When totally melted and smooth, pour in crushed strawberries and strawberry extract and stir to combine. Remove chocolate from fridge and pour white chocolate mixture on top and use an off set spatula to spread the white chocolate mixture over the dark chocolate evenly. Using the remaining 1/2 bag of strawberries, crush them in your hand and sprinkle them on top of the white chocolate mixture. Then top with festive sprinkles, if desired. Place back in the fridge and let set about 2 hours or until completely firm. Remove from fridge and remove from cookie sheet. Peel off wax paper and break into bite size pieces. Keep in airtight container in the fridge. Y’all this stuff is good!! Enjoy!!
