Christmas Sausages
These Christmas sausages simmer down into the sweetest, tangiest little bites. The kind that disappear off the platter before the ham even hits the table. Around here, we call that a holiday success!
Christmas Sausages
2-packages, about 2 lbs of Hillshire Farm smoked sausage, sliced
1-orange zested
1/2-c- BBQ sauce
1-14oz can- cranberry sauce
2-TBSP-spicy brown mustard
2-TBSP- Honey
2-TBSP-low sodium soy sauce
1-TBSP- hot sauce, if desired
1-tsp-salt
Add the sliced sausage to a small crockpot. Place all the other ingredients in a small saucepan and melt everything together over medium low heat. Once the sauce is melted and combined, pour the sauce over the sausage in the crockpot. Turn on low to heat the sausage thru, about 3 hours. Serve as desired and enjoy!! I love these by themselves, but they’re great served with crackers!!
